Bob Beasley was born in Winnipeg and grew up in Thunder
Bay. He studied at Lakehead University, McMaster University, William Booth
College and Ontario Theological Seminary. After a brief period teaching
school, he began ministry with The Salvation Army in Brockville Ontario.
While there he was featured on a weekly Christian call-in program 'GodTalk'
on radio station CFJR. After youth ministry in Alberta and Manitoba, he
and his family moved to Marianna Florida, where they helped plant Christ
Alliance Church. Radio played an important role in the building of that
church, as Bob produced a daily Bible teaching ministry called A Walk
In The Word on WJNF 91.1 Christian radio. In 1996 the Beasleys returned
to Canada, moving to Chatham Ontario, where Bob pastored Gregory Drive
Alliance Church. On March 29, 2004, he introduced the daily national Canadian
radio program, Words from the Heart. He is married to Wendy and they have
three sons, Colin, Paul and Mark.
